This 25-acre preserve, only yards from Skaneateles Lake, treats hikers to a dramatic view of the 100-foot deep Bear Swamp Creek Ravine. The trail also a good spot to beach a canoe or kayak before hiking up the ridge trail.

This 157-acre nature preserve along the Lake Como outlet is owned and operated by the Finger Lakes Land Trust. Situated in a high plateau pocket running from Locke to Homer, the preserve features a number of plants uncommon to the region and some of the highest breeding bird diversity in the state.

This spectacular 1400-acre site, with nearly two miles of Lake Ontario shoreline, features glacially formed bluffs with scenic vistas of Lake Ontario. Hiking and cross-country ski trails available. Pass through the steel arch entrance to the park honoring Cayuga County veterans, from the Revolutionary War to the present, commemorated with memorials, engraved pavers, memorial benches, landscaped plantings and flags.
