Your first stop is Keeley’s Cheese Company at McGarr Farms, 539 Route 34B in King Ferry. Keeley creates her signature washed‐rind cheeses using the high quality milk produced by the grazing herd of Registered Holstein and Jersey cows on her parent’s farm. Keeley’s Cheese Company is just one of the stops on the popular Finger Lakes Cheese Trail.
Next make the short drive to King Ferry Winery, part of the Cayuga Lake Wine Trail. Located at 658 Lake Road in King Ferry, the winery produces world‐class Treleaven Wines in the centuries‐old Burgundian tradition. Sample wines while enjoying the art gallery and gift shop.
After an afternoon of driving through our beautiful countryside sampling cheese and wine, enjoy a relaxing dinner inspired by the changing seasons and fresh regional products at Pumpkin Hill Bistro or the Aurora Inn, both located in the historic lakeside village of Aurora on NYS Scenic Route 90. Try the ‘Days Harvest’ a selection of seasonal fruits, vegetables, and grains fresh from the garden at Pumpkin Hill Bistro or treat yourself to a spectacular lake view while sipping a glass of Finger Lakes wine from the Aurora Inn’s extensive local wine list.
