The ancient Chinese believed that human beings should live in harmony with the natural cycles of their environment. The stillness of winter invites us to slow down and live well. This is the time of year to reflect on our health and replenish our energy — join us by the water where quiet abounds and the fireplaces are in full swing.

Our signature women’s yoga retreat with Live Yum is equal parts inspiration and relaxation. Sip wine, enjoy inspiring chats, practice healing restorative yoga, and custom-blend essential oils with Laura Coburn, our Director of Serenity. Partake in yoga and Live Yum nourishment demonstrations with Liz Price-Kellog and Kristen Taylor, and leave with tools for supporting your health all winter long. Master your mood through skillful breathing and learn simple stretches to keep your joints happy. Take the opportunity to journal and create a vision for the coming year, or simply curl up with that book you’ve been wanting to read and catch up on your sleep.

Accommodations and many activities for the retreat are centered in Rowland House, one of the four Inns of Aurora. Built in 1903 and restored in 2014, Rowland House offers four-diamond guestrooms, an exceptional collection of modern art, antiques from around the world, pristine water views, comfortable parlors for gathering by the fire, a stunning dining room, luxurious marble baths, and an innkeeper to see to your every need.
