NYS Equal Rights Heritage Center to Host Public Meeting on Harriet Tubman Underground Railroad Corridor

May 2, 2024 – Auburn, NY: On Monday, May 13 at 6pm, the Underground Railroad Consortium of New York State will be hosting a public information session with facilitated discussion about the proposed Harriet Tubman Underground Railroad New York Corridor. This meeting will be held at the NYS Equal Rights Heritage Center in Auburn, NY and is open to any and all interested community members.

The proposed corridor will stretch across New York State, connecting notable Underground Railroad sites in the following counties: Niagara, Erie, Orleans, Monroe, Wayne, Ontario, Seneca, Cayuga, Onondaga, Madison, Oneida, Herkimer, Montgomery, Schenectady, Albany, Rensselaer, Columbia, Dutchess, Putnam, Westchester, Bronx, and New York.
