1500-acre wetland on Owasco Inlet with a large variety of plants and animals unique to the area, including two dozen rare speicies of birds. Great fishing and public canoe launch. The Owasco Flats are located at the south end of Owasco Lake near South Shore Marina at Cascade. Owasco Flats Trail The hiking loop utilizes the former Lehigh Valley Railroad rail-bed. Note: Trails are maintained by the Cayuga County Parks and Trails Department.
