As the largest city and county seat of Cayuga, Auburn offers the most extensive selection of shopping venues, from Fingerlakes Mall to the many unique shops and boutiques downtown. Whether it be the holidays, an average weekend, or just a regular weekday, the many towns and villages throughout the county will be happy to show you the splendid wares they offer. And if you’d rather buy your goods second-hand, the annual Route 90 Garage Sale, held the last full weekend of July, stretches alongside Route 90 from Montezuma in the north to the Village of Homer in the south. It’s an experience to remember.
